Caring for my planet, caring for my place!
La classe V A, nel corrente anno scolastico, è pronta a iniziare un nuovo progetto e-twinning. Attraverso meeting ed eventi, gli alunni saranno protagonisti di un gemellaggio elettronico, che avrà come tema la biodiversità. Tale argomento perseguirà obiettivi interdisciplinari, perché il progetto è trasversale a tutte le materie scolastiche. Si organizzeranno gruppi di studenti transnazionali, che collaboreranno in tutte le fasi del progetto, dalla sua pianificazione sino alla conclusione. Si partirà dalla biodiversità del pianeta Terra fino ad arrivare al proprio territorio, che va tutelato e salvaguardato. Cinque i partner del progetto: Italia, Francia, Romania, Grecia e Spagna. In ambito locale, il progetto vedrà la collaborazione del comune di Laterza, in particolare del sindaco Frigiola e dell’assessore all’ambiente D’Anzi. Inoltre, la Lipu (Lega italiana protezione uccelli) offrirà un contributo didattico all’azione progettuale, grazie all’intervento del dottor Manuel Morra che si occuperà della biodiversità nella gravina di Laterza e dei workshop. La novità di questo progetto è quella di far vivere un'esperienza diversa da quella tradizionale, che spesso si limita a raccontare animali e piante in modo descrittivo e talvolta un po' distaccato. Infatti, l’obiettivo è realizzare azioni concrete a favore della natura. Occorre, dunque, proteggere la natura e progettare insieme un futuro migliore, dove uomo e ambiente possano vivere in simbiosi e armonia.
E twinning project: Caring for my planet, caring for my place!
The Class VA, is ready to start a new e-twinning project during this school year. Through meetings and events, pupils will be the protagonists of an electronic twinning that will revolve around biodiversity. This topic will pursue interdisciplinary objectives since the project is transversal to all school subjects. Groups of international students will cooperate in all phases of the project, from its planning to its conclusion. Accordingly, the project will range from the biodiversity of the planet Earth and go as far as the local territory, which must be protected and safeguarded. The project will involve partners from Italy, France, Romania, Greece and Spain. At the local level, the project will benefit from the cooperation of the town of Laterza, in particular the mayor Frigiola and the environment councillor D'Anzi. Moreover, the LIPU (Italian League for the Protection of Birds) will offer an educational contribution to the project. In this respect, Dr Manuel Morra will lecture on biodiversity in the Laterza canyon and will hold workshops. From the standpoint of innovation, this project will provide a whole new experience to the traditional one, as the latter is often limited to teaching about animals and plants in descriptive and sometimes detached terms. Conversely, the aim is to carry out concrete actions in favour of nature. To that purpose, we need to protect nature and plan a better future together, where man and the environment can live in symbiosis and harmony.
